1) What are these targets made of? Our BLOBS are made from 100% post-industrial recycled foam material. 2) Can I specify a certain color? Because our BLOBS are made from 100% post-industrial recycled foam, it is impossible for us to guarantee color choices. Pictures posted on our site are intended to give you an idea of some of the colors available from time to time but specifying a certain color will likely cause shipment delays and unnecessarily postpone delivery of your BLOB. If necessary, color preferences (e.g. darker colors, lighter colors) are better than absolute color choice selections. 3) If I pay today, when will the target ship out? Because our supply of BLOBS is somewhat limited and because our BLOBS are made from 100% post-industrial recycled foam, it is impossible for us to guarantee shipment by any certain date. However, we always ship BLOBS just as soon as possible upon receipt of payment and usually BLOBS are shipped within 2-3 days of payment. Depending on the destination, delivery via FedEx usually only takes 3-4 days. Altogether, the whole process usually only takes about 1 week, and oftentimes is even quicker. Delivery during certain peak times of the year and whenever larger orders are being processed may cause the usual time frame to be extended. Regardless, rest assured that we will do everything possible to deliver your BLOB as quickly as possible upon receipt of payment. 4) I am interested in picking up a BLOB target to save on shipping. Where are you located? We are located in NW GA, not far off I-75. Specifically, we are based in Armuchee, GA, which is just north of Rome in Floyd County. Depending on your order specifics and where you will be coming from, if you call in advance, it may be possible to meet somewhere along your route. For example, we frequently meet folks at the QuikTrip in Adairsville on Hwy 140, just off I-75 at Exit 306. Other meeting locations are possible – please contact Adam to discuss details. 5) How much do these targets weigh? Weights vary but the following information should give you a rough idea of what to expect: 6) How do you accept payment? We accept Payment via PayPal, as the preferred method of payment, through our website using This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . 7) I do not use PayPal, what other forms of payment do you accept? For those who prefer it, we also gladly accept money orders and paper checks via snail mail. Payments may be mailed to: Adam Hammond 8) Do you manufacture these targets yourself? We work with several manufacturers to produce BLOB targets, but we do not actually manufacture the targets, as they are made from 100% post-industrial recycled foam. 9) How do you ship these targets? Individual BLOB orders are shipped via FedEx Ground. Tracking #’s are available upon request and may be provided to the customer to facilitate delivery (no signature required). Certain of our larger sized BLOBS (40”x36”) require shipping via freight delivery to commercial locations. Even on our smaller sizes, when ordering in volume, it MAY make sense to ship via freight to a commercial delivery address, if available. 10) Are these targets weatherproof? Our BLOBS should be considered more/less weatherproof. It is generally not necessary to shelter or otherwise cover our targets to protect them from the elements; however, in some cases, doing so may extend the life of the target. Since our BLOBS are made from closed cell foam, they do not typically soak up water like a sponge, although they may soften up a little with time, use, and weathering, 11) Do you offer any type of guarantee on these targets? On our 24”x24”x10” BLOBS, we offer a guarantee of “No Complete Pass-Through” during the 12-month period beginning with the date of purchase. We require that you move your shots around on the face of the target, not focusing on just one spot. We also require you to shoot both the front and back of the target. IF you do these things and provide video/picture documentation, we’ll gladly ship you another BLOB, for just the cost of shipping. 12) How is arrow pull with these targets? BLOB targets are known for their long-lasting quality and durability, not for ease of arrow removal. The 24"x24"x10" BLOB (out of box) is made from slightly more dense material than most 3D targets and the use of an arrow puller is recommended, arrow lube is optional. Check out our videos for detailed "How-to" instructions. 13) Is an arrow puller or arrow lube required? Arrow lube and the use of an arrow puller will make life easier, but they are not required for most archers. We recommend the use of an arrow puller with our 24"x24"x10" BLOB (out of box). Check out our videos for additional help pulling arrows and for a few tips that will make your shooting more enjoyable. 14) Do these targets cause damage to arrows? BLOB targets have been used by serious archers across the country (especially in the SE) for many years and we have never experienced or seen significant damage to high quality carbon arrows. In time and with much shooting, it is common for the arrow tips of BLOB shooters to become slightly "polished," but if you are shooting good quality arrows, you should be fine. 15) I shoot a BadToTheBone speed bow that shoots 380 FPS. Which BLOB would you recommend for me? Will the BLOB stop my arrows? Yes, our BLOBS will easily stop arrows from any bow. We recommend the 24"x24"x10" BLOB for archers who shoot high-performance speed bows, hundreds of arrows each week, or lots of broadheads. This model also comes with a 1-yr guarantee. 16) I have never heard of BLOB targets, please tell me more about them? BLOB targets have been around and available to shooters in the southeastern United States (mainly Georgia) for more than 20 years. With the advent of popular archery websites (like ArcheryTalk, TexasBowhunter), we have been able to introduce them to the rest of the country. BLOBS are made from 100% recycled post-industrial foam that is very dense and more/less waterproof. They will outlast other commercially available targets and will take both field points and broadheads. Refer to our Testimonials page and also to ArcheryTalk for additional information. 17) I shoot a crossbow with speeds over 400 FPS. Which BLOB would you recommend for me? Will the BLOB stop my crossbow bolts? Is the guarantee still applicable with a crossbow? Yes, our BLOBS will stop crossbow bolts better than any other commercially available target. We recommend the 24"x24"x10" BLOB and we will honor our 1-yr guarantee, even with a crossbow. 18) I shoot hundreds of shots a week, which BLOB would you recommend for me? Is the guarantee still applicable to me? We recommend the 24"x24"x10" BLOB for archers who shoot high-performance speed bows, hundreds of arrows each week, or lots of broadheads. This model comes with a 1-yr guarantee and yes, the guarantee applies to any individual archer, regardless of what or how often he shoots. 19) I shoot primarily broadheads and I am a better shot than Robin Hood, which BLOB would you recommend for me? Is the guarantee still applicable to me? We recommend the 24"x24"x10" BLOB for archers who shoot high-performance speed bows, hundreds of arrows each week, or lots of broadheads. This model comes with a 1-yr guarantee and yes, the guarantee applies to any individual archer, regardless of what, how often, or how well he shoots. 20) I am 6’ 4” tall, 220 lbs of pure muscle. I am having difficulty removing my arrows but strength is not a weakness of mine. Any advice? We have several videos that show how to remove arrows properly. Watch them, and if needed, use an arrow puller. 21) I am outside the continental United States and I would like to get a BLOB. Can you ship outside the continental U.S.? Unfortunately, we cannot ship outside the continental United States due to the high cost of shipping associated with our BLOBS. 22) I have thoroughly reviewed your website but I would prefer to speak to a "live person" before placing an order. Is this possible? Certainly. You may reach Adam at (706) 506-6362 or Anthony at (706) 463-0207. Please feel free to leave a message and we will gladly return your call just as soon as possible. |
